Kathryn Ellwanger
I've had an interest in the arts and communication from childhood. I danced classical ballet for most of my youth and attended Appalachian State University with a concentration in marketing. I then studied Pivot Point Education at Southeastern School of Cosmetic Arts in Charlotte, N.C. and started my career with Belk, Southpark and have been self employed from the age of 22.
I was an educator for Graham Webb International for five years, attended the Redken Institute 5th Ave., NYC and continue to educate myself on new techniques and methods. I find that most of my creative inspiration comes from the runway and retro, to classics from old Hollywood movies and such vintage stylists as Vidal Sassoon. I've worked on many freelance productions and my work can be seen on Dateline NBC, Country Music Television, Nascar, The Speed Channel, Pixar Picture's World Premiere of Cars,a BBC interview with Sting, various local charity events and print work.
I design styles for men and women and provide color services specifically for the individual. Conservative to edgy, through creativity and imagination into reality.
